Ninja ZX-6R 40th Anniversary Edition 2024 – Performance and Advanced Technology:

PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZED FOR LEADING STREET-RIDING EXHILARATION: The performance of the Ninja ZX-6R's engine and chassis is fine-tuned for the racetrack, yet it delivers an exhilarating riding experience in various street scenarios. Rooted in the racetrack but street-focused, it stands out as the preferred 600cc-class supersport for conquering canyons or mountain passes.

SMOOTH AND FLOWING NINJA ZX STYLING: Drawing inspiration from the Ninja ZX-10R, the all-new design embodies the ideal supersport image. The front and side cowls create a flowing design from head to tail. Compact new headlights and an intricately layered front cowl give the Ninja ZX-6R its distinctive "face." Blacked-out engine covers, silencer, and LED turn signals complete the modern look.

DEFINITIVE NINJA FACE: Compact new hybrid projector/reflector headlights play a crucial role in the Ninja ZX-6R's new look. Mono-focus LED technology is enhanced by deep-set reflectors, creating an intense expression. The intricately layered design of the front cowl is complemented by winglet-style inlets and angled chin spoilers, forming a highly recognizable image.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY: Traction control, supersport-grade brake management, selectable power modes, and a quick shifter are now coupled with full-color TFT instrumentation. The new meter includes smartphone connectivity and integrated Riding Modes, enhancing the joy of riding.

3D INTERWOVEN BODYWORK: Similar to the tail cowl's design, the front and side cowls use interwoven layers for a 3D effect, adding to the high-class design. The smooth, flowing design of the bodywork draws attention from head to tail, hinting at the Ninja ZX-6R's street-focused supersport performance.

LARGE BRAKE DISCS, MONOBLOC CALIPERS: Highly rigid, radial-mount monobloc calipers provide a firm lever feel for superb control. Large ø310 mm disc brakes and a radial-pump front brake master cylinder complete the front brake package, ensuring powerful and precise braking. A ø220 mm disc brake and lightweight caliper slow the rear wheel. New round discs, similar to those of the Ninja ZX-10R, contribute to the strong Ninja ZX family image.

SPORTY WINDSHIELD: The short windshield contributes to the Ninja ZX-6R's supersport image. Similar to the Ninja ZX-10R, the front cowl supports the sides of the windshield. Holes in the windshield relieve pressure build-up, reducing buffeting at elevated speeds.

INTEGRATED RIDING MODES: Four integrated riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain, or Rider (manual)) make it easy to select the appropriate level of traction control and power mode for current riding conditions.

636 CM3 LIQUID-COOLED, 4-STROKE IN-LINE FOUR: The Ninja ZX-6R's 37 cm3 greater displacement brings a significant advantage for real-world riding exhilaration. Improved performance across the RPM range enhances sport riding on both back roads and the racetrack. Stronger low and mid-range torque compared to typical mid-size supersport models increases usability in everyday street riding. Updates for 2024 include emissions-related adjustments.

TFT COLOUR INSTRUMENTATION: The new 4.3" all-digital TFT color instrumentation gives the cockpit a high-tech appearance. In addition to smartphone connectivity, the new meter offers several features unavailable on the previous model.

TECHNOLOGY:

KIBS BRAKE SYSTEM: Kawasaki has developed the KIBS brake system for supersport bikes to improve braking performance during deceleration.

ABS BRAKE SYSTEM: The ABS system prevents locking of the front and rear wheels during braking on slippery surfaces or heavy braking, facilitating the rider's control.

KQS - KAWASAKI QUICK SHIFTER: KQS (Kawasaki Quick Shifter) enables clutchless up- and downshifts.

COMBINED SLIPPER CLUTCH: The FCC Assist & Slipper clutch features a mechanism to lighten the operation and a slipper clutch to prevent the rear wheel from losing grip when downshifting.

3-MODE KTRC TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM: The 3-Mode KTRC traction control system offers three setting options for both sporty and cautious riding on slippery surfaces.

POWER MODE SELECTOR: The power mode selector allows riders to choose the power level that best suits the riding conditions. The low-power mode provides 75% of maximum power and a smoother throttle response.

FUEL EFFICIENCY INDICATOR: The engine control unit regulates fuel injection, and the fuel efficiency indicator shows when riding is most economical.
