Huomenna Mats Kock ja Jonatan Autio ovat paikalla RE Motorstila osallistuakseen MotoGuzzi World Days -juhliin Leccossa, Italiassa. Se on Guzzin ja moottoripyörän ystävien odotetuin juhla, joka tänä vuonna on omistettu Moto Guzzin 100-vuotisjuhlille.
Tomorrow will the 2022 edition of the GMG - Moto Guzzi World Days begin in Mandello del Lario, in the province of Lecco, Italy. Mats Kock and Jonatan Autio from RE Motors will be there and take part in the celebrities. It’s the most eagerly awaited party for Guzzi and motorcycling fans, dedicated this year to celebrating 100 years of Moto Guzzi. Founded in 1921, Moto Guzzi couldn’t celebrate last year because of the pandemic, making the 2022 event even more appealing. It will rally tens of thousands of guests to Mandello, on the charming Larian shore of Lake Como.

As of Thursday, the doors will open at the enthralling factory where Moto Guzzi was born one century ago and where the stunning eagle-branded motorbikes are still lovingly crafted. The Moto Guzzi Shop will be open throughout GMG 2022 for exclusive purchases, and free test rides will be running, a unique opportunity to road test the range of bikes made in Mandello. In addition to the range for testing, it will be possible to admire a global preview of the new Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello, the bike that represents the future of Moto Guzzi and which will be presented on the international market in the approaching month of October.

The programme for the party will be rounded off with a series of initiatives on Saturday and Sunday, starting with the spectacular motorcycle parade, which will arrive in Mandello on Saturday morning to pass in front of the legendary red gate of the Moto Guzzi building in Via Parodi, ever the destination of every great traveller astride an eagle-decorated motorcycle. It will be one of the most stirring moments of the GMG, and tens of thousands of fans are expected on the streets where the thousands of bikes on parade, Moto Guzzi vehicles of all ages, will snake by.

At that point, and through Sunday, there will be free visits to the factory and the Museum, which has recently been renovated and houses scores of historic examples of Moto Guzzi bikes, all recently flawlessly restored, extremely rare pieces that make up a valuable international collection.
Street food points will run throughout the weekend, while the musical entertainment will be outstanding, since Virgin Radio is taking care of it – a guarantee for everyone who loves great music.

The spaces dedicated to customisation with Officine Rossopuro, to the Trofeo Moto Guzzi Fast Endurance and to the Photobooth complete a party that extends well beyond the factory to include the whole town, thanks to initiatives by the Municipality of Mandello, which cherishes the profound connection of Moto Guzzi with the history and culture of the wonderful Larian area. In the first half of September, the Lecchese branch of the lake offers locations and enchanting colours that are the exclusive preserve of summer’s end. GMG 2022 will also be a chance to discover a delightful area, for both families and motorcycle riders: they will find countless routes for exceptional trips, surrounded by the magnificent Pre-Alps, dominated by the majestic Grigna. To this day, Moto Guzzi bikes are developed on these same routes, and they seem designed specifically for the pleasure of motorcycle riders, alternating lakeside roads with characteristic mountains trails.
